Our Goal

To address our community's needs, promote a greater understanding and appreciation for diversity, and empower youth to make Spokane County a better, more equitable community.

Our Role

We encourage leadership, volunteerism, and philanthropy among youth ages 13-17.  We believe in our youth's ability to become leaders in the advancement of our community and recognize their capacity to create solutions to the challenges we face as a society.

Mini Grant Opportunity!

Mini Grants are available by our sponsor, WSECU, to support young change-makers to turn their creative ideas into action and make a positive impact in Spokane County!

Want to make a difference? Take action? Solve a tough community problem? Whether you're a child, teen, educator, or youth-serving organization, Youth United Mini Grants were created to support organizations and individuals to provide empowering youth volunteer opportunities that address the needs in our community. The mini grants cover project expenses, up to $300, for youth volunteer projects.

Youth United believes in investing in youth as problem-solvers to address the most important challenges facing our community. This bold strategy puts children and youth in the driver's seat and gives them the power to plan, implement, and witness the full impact of their service. We know that youth bring new startegies, skills and initiative to solve challenging issues.
