United for U.S.

You are here

United for U.S. is a joint effort between United Way, our corporate partners, organized labor, and nonprofits to assist furloughed federal workers and others impacted by the ongoing government shutdown.

This page will be updated as we receive information on available resources. If you provide services that are not already listed please let us know via email or call 509-324-5029.

Furloughed employees are encouraged to call 2-1-1 a nonemergency, three-digit service that provides information about local social services, including the availability of public benefits and corporate assistance programs. 2-1-1 connects callers to resources and aid for monthly living expenses. This is a free, confidential service. United Way supports and provides 2-1-1 services in most communities across the U.S.
