OVATION 2020 Celebration

Thank you everyone for celebrating with us at OVATION.

OVATION is an annual celebration to lift up the impact we create together as a community. This year's sponsors, Avista, KHQ, and Nectar Catering, graciously helped United Way host hundreds of guests at the Fox theater.
Guests were treated to performances by the Grant Elementary Drummers and Dancers and drummers from the Salish School of Spokane.
Eight awards were gifted to honor the commitment of companies and individuals in our community who go above and beyond to support Spokane County United Way. Through their generosity, and the generosity of donors throughout our community, Spokane County United Way continues its work to create safe homes free of child abuse, neglect, and domestic violence, increase learning opportunities and graduation rates, and improve the financial stability of families in our community.

Thanks to our community's generosity, Spokane County United Way's annual campaign raised $3,070,861.

As much as the campaign is about raising money, it is really about the impact that all of us have with our gifts. This year Spokane County United Way started an infant care room at Transitions Home Yard Cottages. Transitions is an organization that is dedicated to ending poverty and homelessness for women and children in Spokane. United Way increased mentor support at Bemiss Elementary and Spokane Montessori with Communities in Schools which is an organization committed to surrounding students with a community of support in order to assist these students to stay in school and succeed in life. United Way hired a staff member to work on addressing the challenges faced by homeless youth in our community.

Thank you to our donors. Your generosity is behind every story!
