What is Spokane Gives?

Spokane Gives began in 2014 and has quickly become a way for our community to celebrate volunteerism and connect more people with local nonprofits. What started as a week of giving has turned into a month long event every April.

Our Role

Volunteers are at the heart of our community and Spokane County United Way works to connect volunteers and non-profit agencies to make impact through our online volunteer platform VolunteerSpokane.org. Over 300 local nonprofits have opportunities waiting to be filled and volunteers can easily find opportunities that fit their schedule and interests all year long.

During Spokane Gives we work to coordinate large scale community projects that bring hundreds of volunteers together. Thanks to Spokane Gives sponsor STCU, Spokane County United Way is able to award nonprofits with mini-grants to cover necessary project supplies like paint, brushes, and cleaning solutions.
