In these unparalleled times, it is more important than ever to celebrate people who serve our Spokane community. This year, due to COVID-19 safety concerns, the planning for the Spokane Philanthropy Awards is ongoing. While additional details are forthcoming, we want to recognize the Philanthropic Heroes that support our community. The Spokane Philanthropy Awards are intended to highlight and celebrate those who are making a significant impact in addition to their public/private sector employment and/or retired status. Nominees' impact should be primarily within Spokane County (Spokane County United Way's service area).

Company Based Awards

To qualify for this award, the philanthropic entity should demonstrate outstanding community commitment through financial support, executive/employee involvement, and the encouragement/motivation of others to take leadership roles toward philanthropy and community involvement. Entities need not be Spokane County-based but should have local operations.

Individual Based Awards

To qualify for this award, the philanthropic individual, couple or family should demonstrate outstanding community commitment through advocacy, leadership role(s), mobilizing efforts toward a cause, volunteerism, and supporting philanthropic contributions in Spokane County.
